The 31st CPSP Plenary event is quickly approaching, and we have some exciting news to share!

The 31st CPSP Plenary theme is Celebrating Resilience and Unity in Times of Change: Who Promised You a Rose Garden?

As we reported earlier, Joanne Greenberg, award-winning, best-selling author, will be our guest speaker.

In response to feedback, we've modified the event schedule:

  • The evening of May 2 is now for virtual committee meetings.
  • The event itself will take place during May 3-5.
  • Scheduling is engineered in a way that members in all time zones, Eastern to Pacific, will have access to meetings, with little interruption to the workdays.

Additionally, we will have the meeting available in Spanish and in closed captioning.

The finalized schedule will be published shortly!

We proudly announce that CPSP has contracted with The Brown Palace Hotel in downtown Denver, CO for rooms and meeting space.

Guest rooms are $149/night, plus taxes and service charges, for single or double occupancy, and the special price is good until April 7.

And if you're wondering, yes, Joanne Greenberg will be at The Brown Palace Hotel, as well!

Our event, while it is a virtual event, will now have limited in-person availability in Denver, with a safe and CDC compliance, for a capacity of up to fifty (50) attendees. The Brown Palace carries a special safety certification that allows them to operate above the city's current Yellow Level compliance on the COVID-19 dial.

If you would like to book a room, please contact Krista Argiropolis at and put HOTEL in the subject line of your email. Include your arrival and departure dates. Bookings will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

We've seen some excellent round-trip ticket prices with major airlines. Today's rates, with arrival on May 2 - departure on May 5, for example:

  • Dallas to Denver, non-stop, on Frontier is $57.
  • San Francisco to Denver, non-stop, on United is $97
  • New York (LGA) to Denver, connecting, on Spirit is $134

Denver also has affordable ground-transportation from the airport to the hotel at just $10.50 per day, with special rates for students and seniors.

The event registration rates are affordable at $75 for members who are attending virtually or $150 for members attending the event in-person. We have discounted rates for trainees, as well.

As mentioned, we can only accommodate fifty attendees at the hotel but the virtual registration is unlimited.
